Benedikt is supporting LEXR as a Freelance Counsel since 2019. Benedikt has been active in the LegalTech and Blockchain Space for a couple of years, both as a legal counsel and entrepreneur. He's a director and co-founder of the Swiss FinTech FQX and a Board Member of the Lisk Foundation in Zug. He's a doctoral student at the Université Paris II where he's writing a Dissertation about Programmable Securities Using Smart Contracts. Benedikt has written several papers for Swiss and foreign journals ranging from a contract law perspective on smart contracts to an economic analysis of law perspective on digitization as a whole. Before becoming an entrepreneur and freelance legal counsel, Benedikt worked for the Swiss FinTech-pioneer Lykke and for the Swiss Private Bank Notenstein.
Benedikt earned his law degree from the University of Zurich with a Focus on international private and financial market law. He also earned a CAS in Financial Market Law from the University of Zurich. Benedikt is passionate about politics, economics, bouldering and music.
