Lea is supporting LEXR as a freelance counsel and launched her own law firm in 2019. She specializes on financial regulation with a focus on FinTech, cross-border financial services and white collar crimes. Lea worked for two major law firms in Zürich in the banking/finance department, as well as for the State Secretariate for International Financial Matters.
She earned her LL.M. degree from Harvard University in 2019 and was appointed as criminal judge in 2014. Lea is passionate about new technologies and social entrepreneurship. This is mirrored in her pro bono activity as founder and CEO of AsyLex, a Swiss charity providing free online legal aid to refugees.
