Martin specializes in capital markets, contract and corporate law, with special focus on areas where IT and financial markets law intersect. Fueled by a keen interest in the automation of financial and legal services, Martin seeks to create innovative solutions for his clients to improve their competitive standing and efficiency — as well as the efficiency of surrounding markets.
Before joining LEXR, Martin worked for multiple renowned law firms. He has also acted as academic assistant to Professor von der Crone at the University of Zurich and auditor for the Zurich District Court. His PhD thesis on regulatory aspects of high-frequency trading earned him the Issekutz Award, and he concluded both his studies and the bar exam with highest honors.
In his free time, Martin gains inspiration from nature and studying the implications of artificial intelligence on society. He also enjoys writing and is currently working on a novel.
